Be involved

HOPE Cape Town USA can be supported in many different ways, but all types of support help us to achieve our development goals.

Specific Fundraising Drives:

The directors and friends of HOPE Cape Town USA in New Jersey champion the children in the Township of Blikkiesdorp and the so called “Garden Project” which combines environmental questions, nutrition and food security as well as training.

Blikkiesdorp Food Drive:

The Blikkiesdorp food acessibility fundraiser originated from the godchild of Shirley and Joe Kunzmann, Parker, who saw the food-based needs that existed within the community and decided to provide his lunch money as a manner to help the children. This led to the creation of our Blikkiesdorp food drive. All donations go to provide the lunches – no admin deductions.

To contribute to Parker’s quest please mention “Parker” when donating to our cause.

HIV, AIDS – youth and family

Our Director and Community activist  Auntjuan Wiley is the President/CEO of the AIDS Walk South Dallas, Inc. and is involved in a variety of HIV/AIDS related portfolios such as the annual national Men’s Strength Conference.  The interaction between HOPE Cape Town and Wiley’s directives serve the purpose of supporting HIV and AIDs related causes including treatment and prevention. To improve the quality of these programs please mention “HIV” when donating.

Garden Project

Our director Stacie Greskowiak McNulty from Michigan joins our friends in New Jersey supporting the garden project “Seed of HOPE”. At the community garden adjacent to HOPE Cape Town’s campus The Nex – Indawo Yethu – community gardeners will plant fruit and vegetables in 40 allotments that will not only give people the option of nourishing food but also the chance to earn a living.

Your donation will not only help fund the garden set up but also the training programme which forms an integral part of the project. This also includes training in hydroponics and the formation of agripreneurs. If you want to assist this important project, please mention “garden” if you donate for our cause.
